XGvis is a system for multidimensional scaling and graph layout in any dimension. It implements multidimensional scaling (MDS) to analyze dissimilarity data, multivariate data and discrete graphs.
XGobi is a tool from the same authors that does multi dimensional data visualization using scatterplots and line drawings.
Ggobi is the evolution of the previous projects. GGobi is an open source and cross platform visualization program for exploring high-dimensional data. It provides highly dynamic and interactive graphics such as tours, as well as familiar graphics such as the scatterplot, barchart and parallel coordinates plots. Plots are interactive and linked withbrushing and identification.
Mondrian is a general purpose statistical data-visualization system. It features outstanding visualization techniques for data of almost any kind, and has its particular strength compared to other tools when working with Categorical Data, Geographical Data and LARGE data.

MDR is a data mining strategy for detecting and characterizing nonlinear interactions among discrete attributes (e.g. SNPs, smoking, gender, etc.) that are predictive of a discrete outcome (e.g. case-control status). The MDR software combines attribute selection, attribute construction and classification with cross-validation to provide a powerful approach to modeling interactions.
Matlab Toolbox for Dimensionality Reduction, or DRToolbox as we refer to it during these pages, is not a complete software. It is a library that contains Matlab implementations of 32 techniques for dimensionality reduction. It is a great work, open source and has been used in our project. We encourage you to check this page for updates in a regular basis.
KNIME, is a modular data exploration platform that enables the user to visually create data flows (often referred to as pipelines), selectively execute some or all analysis steps, and later investigate the results through interactive views on data and models.
It is developed in Java and is released under a dual licensing scheme. The open source license (GPL) allows KNIME to be downloaded, distributed, and used freely.
KNIME also integrates all analysis modules of Weka and provides a variety of features.
Rapid Miner is with Knime the best tool related to our work. It is a standalone, open source program for data mining and analysis system. It is cross platform and has great functionality.
Through this section you can find some related works that inspired us to develop xSDR. Our goal was to combine most of the functionality into a simple, easy to use but at the same time powerful and high configurable tool.
